Ages 5 and up.
Tap dancing increases coordination and develops a sense of rhythm and musicality in dance. The dancer’s feet become an instrument of “expression” that creates sounds with the floor. The class varies in styles from Traditional/Broadway Tap, Rhythm Tap (Hoofing) and Acapella.
Shoe Requirements:
Ages 5 to 8 - tan Velcro shoes (NO shoes with ties or buckles)
Ages 9 and older - tan slip-on tap shoes
Advanced levels - black tie tap shoes
Adult Tap – any style tap shoes
