Miss Danielle ("Dance with Me," tiny tots, tap, jazz, hip hop)
and Miss Mary Ann ("Dance with Me," tiny tots, tap, jazz, lyrical)

“In 1981 and 1984 when each of us began dancing, a passion and love for dance was sparked immeidatley. One dance class led to two, then three, and then more… each of us could not get enough of dance class!
What started out with little “Copacabana” and “Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” costumes, has since transformed into a dream of teaching dance, costuming your children, preparing them for their recital and running our own business.
We thank you for the opportunity to share our love and knowledge of dance your child.”
Miss Aimee - adult tap

Miss Aimee has been teaching dance and fitness in the Buffalo area since 2001. She started her dance training at the age of 9 with Betty Rogers and later at other local WNY studios including Debonaire (Sam Fiorella), David DeMarie, and finally at Darlene Ceglia’s Dance Project. During her years of dance, she competed in many regional and national competitions, as well as participating in local performances. After her time as a competitive dance, she began sharing her love of dance with other adults around Buffalo as a dance instructor and has since taught various levels of tap jazz, and hip hop to dozens of students of all ages. Miss Aimee’s passion for dance eventually crossed over to a passion for fitness as well. She currently holds certifications in personal training, various group fitness classes (including kickboxing, barbell, boot camp and core training), as well as yoga, PiYo, and Body Pump. We are proud to have her at Modern Movement.
Miss Amanda - ballet, modern, musical theater

Miss Amanda began dancing in 1989 at the Mildred Scilla School of Dance in Queens, New York, taking classes in ballet, modern, jazz, tap and hip hop. While in high school, she also frequented The Broadway Dance Center Program where she was able to expand her dance repertoire to include contemporary, lyrical, and African dance. Miss Amanda continued her dance education at Scilla until graduating from college in 2006. After college she began teaching Pilates and in 2012, resumed her dance career at Modern Movement. She is excited to teach ballet and modern at our studio and we are thrilled to have her!

Miss Chelsea - jazz

Miss Chelsea has studied dance at Modern Movement since she was 5 years old. After working her way up to class assistant, we just knew she would make an amazing dance teacher and she's proven us RIGHT. Our dancers are so fortunate to have Miss Chelsea as their teacher.
